Narine Mirzoyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Management and Business and Deputy Dean of YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, participated in the international conference titled "Script and Identity in the Caucasus" held at Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU), delivering a presentation during the plenary session.
During the opening ceremony, the greeting message of YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan was presented, emphasizing the importance of scholarly dialogue on the study of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Caucasus and the preservation of their identity. The rector also expressed confidence that the outcomes of the conference would contribute to strengthening the existing scientific cooperation between YSU and MSU.
Joined online, Mkhitar Gabrielyan, Dean of YSU Faculty of History, welcomed the participants and highly appreciated the initiative to organize the conference.
Within the framework of the conference, Narine Mirzoyan participated in a series of roundtable discussions organized by MSU and held bilateral meetings with Yuriy A. Mazey, Vice-Rector for International Affairs and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS); A. D. Nekipelov, Director of the Moscow School of Economics and RAS Academician; and A. A. Yakovlev, Deputy Director of the same school.
During these meetings, the participants discussed the progress of joint projects launched based on agreements reached during YSU Faculty of Economics delegation's visit to MSU in April of this year, as well as potential new avenues for collaboration.
Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to continuing and enhancing the cooperation.
