The Faculty of Economics and Management at Yerevan State University hosted Lyubov Khomyakova, Senior Researcher at the Institute for Research on International Economic Relations of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation, to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation between the institutions and for publishing joint scholarly works.
During her meeting with Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management—also attended by Associate Professor Grigor Hayrapetyan, Head of the Chair of Economics and International Economic Relations and the faculty's Officer for International Relations—a range of topics of mutual interest were discussed, including research collaboration, joint projects, and prospects for co-authored publications.
L. Khomyakova presented the main areas of activity of the Institute for Research on International Economic Relations, its ongoing research programs, and the formats through which it engages international partners. She emphasized that the institute regularly implements research initiatives involving various countries with the aim of developing scientific ties and promoting the execution of joint research work.
The discussion focused not only on the faculty's potential participation in research programs conducted by the Financial University but also on the prospects for preparing joint articles and publishing them in international academic journals. Dean Karlen Khachatryan highlighted the importance of expanding scholarly cooperation and noted that the faculty stands ready to take an active part in relevant research projects arising from such initiatives.
