The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management hosted a scientific seminar titled "Business Digitalization: Foundational Matrix, Challenges, and Solutions", delivered by Ara Karyan, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor at the Chair of Finance and Accounting.
The speaker presented the general characteristics and features of blockchain-based cryptocurrencies and digital assets or tokens in the contemporary Meta era. Addressing the challenges faced by the real sector of the Armenian economy, he emphasized that digital tokenization could serve as a foundational mechanism to foster the convergent digital development of the economy.
It was concluded that business digital tokenization can attract alternative investment flows, reduce operational costs, and enhance productivity and management efficiency. Simultaneously, it can create a favorable environment for generating and promoting innovations, contributing to the formation and growth of innovative chains. According to the speaker, the core of real sector development and inclusive economic growth should be based on the close integration and synergistic growth of the real economy, financial and ICT sectors, and the education system.
During the seminar, the speaker also briefly presented his Maten Token digital tokenization project.
The seminar concluded with active discussions among participants, emphasizing the strategic importance of digital transformation processes and the necessity of developing joint solutions through collaboration between the public, private, and academic sectors.
