From December 1 to 5 of this year, the Russian-Armenian University hosted its XIX International Annual Conference, attended by scholars and researchers from various countries around the world. The conference covered a wide range of research topics, with an agenda filled with discussions on issues of international significance.
At the opening ceremony, speeches were delivered by Rector of the Russian-Armenian University University, Doctor of Economics, Professor E. M. Sandoyan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia S. P. Kopirkin, as well as high-ranking guests and representatives of the university leadership. Leaders of Armenia's top universities, senior officials, and members of the academic staff were also present at the ceremony.
Representatives from the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management—including faculty leadership, academic staff, and postgraduate students—actively participated in the conference. Participants from the faculty included Dean, Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan; Deputy Dean, Associate Professor Vardan Aleksanyan; Head of the Chair of Economics and International Economic Relations, Associate Professor Grigor Hayrapetyan; Associate Professor Hasmik Hovhannisyan; Assistant Liana Karapetyan from the Chair of Finance and Accounting; Assistant Ani Khalatyan from the Chair of Mathematical Modeling in Economics; and postgraduate student Alisa Gevorgyan from the Chair of Management and Business.
The participation of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management played an important role in strengthening the faculty's international scientific presence, establishing new collaborations, and expanding academic networks.
The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management and the Russian-Armenian University have a long history of fruitful collaboration. Notably, representatives of the Russian-Armenian University actively participated in the faculty's 2nd International Conference "Transformative Economy: Human Capital Development, Co-Creative Innovative Economy, Sustainable Inclusive Growth", held at YSU from October 8 to 10.
