The delegation included Araksya Martirosyan, founder of the IAB International Academy of Business; Narine Khachatryan, Head of International Programs; Mary Berberyan, audit manager at a Big Four firm and ACCA member; Zhanna Iskenova, Head of ACCA for Central Asia, Armenia, and Mongolia; and Begaiym Ormusheva, ACCA Business Development Manager.
During the visit, the guests met with third- and fourth-year students of the "Finance" bachelor's program. The speakers presented the ACCA system, its international qualifications, and the professional growth opportunities it offers. Students had the chance to gain valuable insights and pose their questions directly to the experts.
Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management Karlen Khachatryan and Acting Head of the Chair of Financial Accounting Gnel Sahakyan discussed with the visiting specialists potential cooperation opportunities, arrangements for providing benefits to students, and formats for implementing joint initiatives.
Preliminary agreements were reached on developing mechanisms for cooperation. Both sides highly appreciated the mutual interest and willingness to facilitate an effective framework for cooperation.
The faculty is committed to investing its full efforts to ensure that the emerging partnership with ACCA is organized and developed effectively, contributing to the professional growth of its students.
