Anna Hakobjanyan, Associate Professor and Candidate of Economic Sciences and Head of the YSU "Marketing" master's program, paid a working visit to the Bratislava University of Economics and Business from April 27 to 30 to discuss ways to enhance the educational program and expand international cooperation.
The visit, carried out under an additional funding program for the "Marketing" master's program, included a series of bilateral and multilateral working meetings and discussions at the partner university. The talks focused on the program's academic and organizational development, as well as prospects for broadening international cooperation.
During the visit, Hakobjanyan, who also heads the YSU Chair of Management and Business, met with Professor Eva Hanulakova, Head of the Marketing Department at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business. The parties reviewed course descriptions for Brand Management, Advertising, Digital Marketing, and Public Relations taught at the partner university. The curriculum of the YSU "Marketing" master's program was also presented to identify potential areas for cooperation and exchange of experience.
The meeting also addressed the possibility of transforming the "Marketing" program into a dual-degree program. In addition, working meetings were held with marketing specialist Professor Daniel Krajcik. Discussions focused on the development and enrichment of case studies based on international experience and their application in the educational process. Agreements were reached to organize online lectures for students enrolled in the YSU "Marketing" master's program.
Discussions with Professor Elena Kastakova, Head of the Department of International Trade at the Bratislava University, focused on opportunities for joint scientific research and grant-funded projects.
The visit provided an important opportunity to outline new formats of cooperation and strengthen international ties. The parties also discussed organizing specialized online lectures for students of the "Marketing" master's program, as well as opportunities for joint project-based and research activities. Among the initiatives to be considered further are reciprocal faculty visits and the development of a joint or dual-degree master's program.
