Anastasia Andreevna Sozinova, Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics and Management at Vyatka State University, Russia, Doctor of Economics and Professor, visited the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management.
The visit was organized within the framework of the grant project "Challenges in the Development of International Transit Transport Routes of the Republic of Armenia" (code: 25RG-5B145), funded under the "Grant Program for Promoting Scientific Effectiveness - 2025" competition of the Higher Education and Science Committee of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia.
The visit aimed to summarize the work completed, identify directions for further research, and discuss new opportunities for scientific and educational cooperation. Professor Anastasia Sozinova is the project's international partner. The scientific supervisor of the grant project is Harutyun Zakoyan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Management and Business of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management. Professor and Doctor of Economics Vahram Abrahamyan, from the same chair, is also involved in the project.
During the visit, scientific discussions focused on the challenges in developing Armenia's international transit transport routes, the existing issues, possible ways of addressing them, and prospects for further development.
A scientific seminar was also held at Goris State University, where discussions focused on the challenges in developing Armenia's international transit transport routes, opportunities to improve their efficiency, and prospects for further development.
One of the key outcomes of the visit was the identification of the main areas for joint scientific and educational cooperation between the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management and the Institute of Economics and Management at Vyatka State University.
Alongside the scientific activities, visits to historical and cultural sites in Armenia were also organized.
The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management places importance on developing international scientific cooperation as a key direction of strengthening research capacity, fostering new scientific initiatives, and advancing the scientific and educational environment. Joint research and professional discussions with international partners help expand the faculty's scientific agenda, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience, and create new opportunities for international scientific and educational cooperation.
