Admission Requirements

Admission is conducted in accordance with the "Regulations on Admission to State and Non-State Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Armenia (Bachelor's Degree Programmes)," approved by the Government of the Republic of Armenia.

Programme Objective

The programme aims to prepare highly qualified management professionals for organizations operating across various sectors of the economy, the banking and financial sector, industrial and social infrastructure, as well as different levels of public administration and local self-government.

Advantages

Upon successful completion of the programme, graduates will be able to:

• describe economic phenomena and processes arising in the areas of production, distribution, exchange, and consumption; 

• explain the principal approaches to conducting technical and economic analyses required for business activities;

• present contemporary technologies for optimal resource planning and management; 

• describe approaches to recording, analyzing, and forecasting organizational performance;

• explain issues related to the development, implementation, and management of organizational strategies; 

• present the characteristics of various sectors of the economy and their management, as well as the principles and approaches of public administration and local self-government; 

• describe the most widely applied probabilistic, optimization, statistical, econometric, and other analytical methods; 

• present the most commonly used specialized software applications and their principal areas of application in economic analysis and management; 

• interpret the key concepts and challenges of microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global and local markets.

Upon completion of the programme, graduates will possess the practical competencies required to perform technical and economic analyses for business purposes, prepare professional reports, and evaluate organizational performance. They will be able to develop and implement business plans, work effectively both independently and as members or leaders of multidisciplinary teams, and apply appropriate management strategies and tools to support effective decision-making. Graduates will also be capable of using widely adopted specialized software, designing effective organizational management systems to optimize the use of resources, and analyzing the management characteristics and operational mechanisms of individual economic sectors as well as the economy as a whole.

Career Opportunities

Immediately upon graduation, graduates of the programme may hold positions such as supervisors and managers at lower and middle management levels, analysts, and advisers.

Graduates may pursue careers in public administration, including the Government of the Republic of Armenia, ministries, other state institutions, and local self-government bodies, as well as in the private sector, including manufacturing enterprises, banking and financial institutions, service organizations, trading companies, and international organizations.

Graduates may continue their studies in the Master's Programme in Management without an entrance examination, enroll in Master's programmes in other fields of study, or obtain a second Bachelor's or Specialist qualification through an accelerated programme.
