"Article Writing School-3" educational program held at YSU
Initiated by the Student Scientific Society of Yerevan State University, the " Article Writing School-3" educational program was organized with the aim of enhancing students' skills in conducting scientific research, as well as guiding them on the best ways to present their research at both national and international conferences.

Undergraduate and graduate students, alongside young people interested in science from all universities and research institutions in Armenia were given the opportunity to participate in the program dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. Out of more than 170 applicants, 100 participants were selected, including representatives from the humanities, social, natural, and mathematical sciences.

The program, which took place from May 12 to 16 this year, featured lectures by several scholars from YSU. These included Meri Panosyan, a lecturer at YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, who discussed "Challenges and Value Dilemmas: Young Researchers at the Crossroads of Academic Ethics"; Mikayel Malkhasyan, PhD, Associate Professor, who spoke on "How to Conduct Scientific Research: Choosing a Title"; Anna Knyazyan, Doctor, Professor and Head of the Chair of English Philology at YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication, who delivered a lecture on "How to Write the Methodology Section of a Scientific Article"; and Khachik Abajyan, Deputy Director of the Center for Student Affairs and former President of YSU Student Council, who discussed "International Educational and Research Opportunities." The program was concluded by Varuzhan Geghamyan, PhD, Associate Professor at YSU Faculty of Oriental Studies, who highlighted the importance of the topics discussed during the program for young researchers from a professional perspective.
"Since 1947, YSU Student Scientific Society has organized over 11,000 events related to academic writing and scientific work, including lectures, seminars, panel discussions, and workshops. Such meetings, dedicated to addressing various issues of academic writing, have truly contributed to increasing students' interest in science and fostering the development of scientific thinking. The successes of former members of the Student Scientific Society in the field of science attest to this," noted S. Baghumyan.
At the conclusion of the program, participants were awarded certificates.
