Journalism Faculty lecturer Kristine Alagulyan awarded YSU Silver Medal
Kristine Alagulyan, lecturer in the Chair of History, Theory, and Practice of Journalism at Yerevan State University and News Presenter at Shant TV, was awarded YSU Silver Medal for her active participation and dedicated work during the "Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2025" event.

Speaking about the active involvement of students from the Faculty of Journalism in the "Learn & Work: YSU EXPO-2025" event, YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisyan emphasized the exceptional value of Kristine Alagulyan’s contribution in organizing and coordinating the live broadcast coverage of the entire event.
"For the third consecutive year, the "Learn & Work" Expo has been successfully held, thanks to tremendous efforts and active engagement. This year, however, the scale of the event was even broader. I believe this was an important learning experience, particularly for the students involved in the organizational process—especially those from the Faculty of Journalism. The event hosts and those conducting live interviews were all our students. Their speech, presence, and overall performance demonstrated a high level of professionalism. In fact, they can already be considered fully-fledged journalists. All of this was made possible under the skilled and highly professional leadership of Kristine Alagulyan," said the rector.
Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Naghash Martirosyan also highlighted Alagulyan’s significant role in the faculty: "There is no doubt that Kristine Alagulyan’s presence at the faculty is essential. Thanks to her, a unique environment and atmosphere have taken shape. She is as much a professional in the classroom as she is on television, and the clearest reflection of this is the students’ attitude toward her," Martirosyan noted.
In response to the recognition, Kristine Alagulyan expressed her gratitude: "In my view, there is no more effective way of working than collaboration. The support from all of you played a huge role in the success of this initiative."
