"Annual Review Conference-2025" held in Dilijan
The "Annual Review Conference-2025" event is being held in Dilijan, Tavush Province of Armenia. Taking place from October 5 to 10, this important scientific gathering brings together scientists, researchers, and young professionals to present the year’s scientific achievements, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and promote the establishment of new partnership ties.

The "Annual Review Conference" is organized jointly by Yerevan State University and the A. I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory, with the support of the MoESCS of Higher Education and Science Committee.
The conference aims to promote the development of various scientific fields in Armenia and to increase scientists’ awareness of the latest research conducted in related disciplines. At the same time, a priority of this scientific event is to facilitate the establishment of new platforms for cooperation between research institutes, centers, and universities, and to support the strengthening of the international competitiveness of scientific studies conducted in Armenia.
Rafayel Barkhudaryan, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at YSU, emphasizing the importance of the event, stated, "The 'Annual Review Conference-2025' is a very important platform because it not only provides an opportunity to present scientific findings but also serves as an incentive for collaboration, dialogue, and new initiatives within the scientific community. The conference involves many representatives from YSU, ranging from faculty members to young scientists and students. This is a great opportunity, especially for university members, to engage in the scientific process, to familiarize themselves with the latest research conducted in other institutions, and, why not, to lay the foundations for future collaborative scientific projects."
Rafayel Barkhudaryan also highlighted the importance of holding the conference outside formal academic settings, which promotes informal communication, the building of mutual trust among representatives of the scientific community, and the strengthening of cooperation.
The conference features oral presentations and poster sessions by grant recipients of the MoESCS Higher Education and Science Committee, who present the progress and results of their scientific groups’ research over the past year. Additionally, 30 students and young scientists are given the opportunity to present their research projects in poster format.
This conference enables specialists and researchers from various fields to engage in in-depth professional dialogue and exchange new scientific ideas. Presentations cover a wide range of disciplines, from natural sciences and technology to archaeology, historical studies, and socio-psychological analyses.
Last year’s conference, held from December 7 to 15, took place at Yerevan State University. An important component of the event was the final phase of the interdisciplinary competition, during which teams of young scientists presented their joint projects, thereby encouraging the strengthening of interdisciplinary connections, the exchange of new ideas, and discussions on the prospects for the development of scientific programs.
A group of participants from the conference also visited Dilijan’s high schools and central schools to engage with students on the importance of science.
