Politics, religion and society: re-reading the ideas of Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at YSU
The Faculty of Theology at Yerevan State University, in collaboration with the Cultural Center of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Armenia, hosted an event dedicated to the re-reading of the political, religious, and social ideas of Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
The event aimed to provide a multidimensional analysis of the ideological legacy of 86-year-old Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei, examining it within the context of contemporary global and regional developments. The discussion focused on key aspects of his political ideas, religious interpretations, and social views, which have had a significant impact on the formation of Iran's domestic and foreign policy.
Speakers also addressed the distinctive features of Iran's politico-religious system, emphasizing their interaction with modern social processes.
The meeting was attended by Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Armenia Khalil Shirgholami, Head of the Cultural Center of the Iranian Embassy Mohammad Asadi Movahed, as well as various experts, faculty members, and students.
