ԵՊՀ-ում վերաբացվեց ՀՀ Ազգային հերոս Թաթուլ Կրպեյանի անվան լսարանը ԵՊՀ պատմության ֆակուլտետում տեղի ունեցավ ՀՀ Ազգային հերոս Թաթուլ Կրպեյանի անվան լսարանի վերաբացման արարողությունը: Ժամանակակից լուծումներով կահավորված լսարանը վերաբացվեց «Արմենիա Վայն» ընկերության հետ համագործակցության արդյունքում:
Նոր ուսումնասիրություն՝ ուղղված կանանց առողջության պահպանմանը ԵՊՀ կենսաբանության ֆակուլտետի դոցենտ, ավագ գիտաշխատող Ինգա Բազուկյանն ընդգծում է, որ արգանդի պարանոցի քաղցկեղը քաղցկեղի չորրորդ տարատեսակն է աշխարհում, որի հիմնական պատճառը մարդու պապիլոմավիրուսն է: Ըստ նրա՝ մեր բնակչության շրջանում տարածված է մարդու պապիլոմավիրուսով (ՄՊՎ) հարուցվող քաղցկեղի զարգացումը, ինչը հետևանք է նաև այն մտավախության, թե ՄՊՎ դեմ պատվաստումը կարող է հանգեցնել անպտղության: Այս մտավախության պատճառով է, որ շատերը շրջանցում են այդ պատվաստումը: Եվ չնայած ՄՊՎ-ի դեմ կանանց պատվաստման պետական ծրագրին՝ արգանդի պարանոցի քաղցկեղի դեպքերի թիվը չի փոփոխվել 2015 թվականից ի վեր։ Ինգա Բազուկյանն իր գիտական խմբի հետ ուսումնասիրում է հեշտոցային միկրոբիոմը՝ առաջարկելու պապիլոմավիրուսի կանխարգելման այլընտրանքային ուղիներ:

Collaboration between YSU and University of Burgundy explores valuable properties of underutilized essential oil-bearing plants In Armenia, significant areas are occupied by semi-deserts, steppes, and steppe shrubs, whose flora represents a valuable source of essential oil-bearing plants. Narine Zakaryan, Associate Professor at the Chair of Botany and Mycology and Researcher at the Research Institute of Biology, Yerevan State University, highlights this point, noting that essential oil-bearing plants make up 9% of Armenia's flora. She, along with her research team, is currently studying the economic significance of plant species that are underutilized by the population of Armenia, uncovering their antifungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-aging, and other valuable properties.
