Public figure, Monsignor Pascal Gollnish awarded Honorary Doctor of YSU In recognition of Monsignor Pascal Gollnish's long-standing dedication to education and his extensive humanitarian work, the Academic Council of Yerevan State University has awarded him the title of Honorary Doctor of YSU.
YSU Academic Secretary Meri Hovhannisyan joins RA MoESCS delegation on official visit to Ethiopia A delegation led by Artur Martirosyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia, visited Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from May 12 to 17, 2025. The delegation included Levon Farmanyan, Secretary-General of the Higher Education and Science Committee; Arkadi Papoyan, Head of the Department for Foreign Relations and Diaspora at MoESCS; Meri Hovhannisyan, Academic Secretary of Yerevan State University; Khachatur Margaryan, Vice-Rector of Yerevan State Medical University after Mkhitar Heratsi; and Davit Poghosyan, Director of the History Museum of Armenia.
The university should be a platform for dialogue between technology and humanity – Arevik Anapiosyan YSU Alumni Forum not only brought together alumni from different years, but also became a platform for discussing innovative ideas regarding the future of higher education in Armenia. President of House of Representatives of Cyprus Annita Demetriou visits YSU A delegation headed by the President of the House of Representatives of the Republic of Cyprus, Annita Demetriou, was hosted at Yerevan State University. The president of the House of Representatives first met with YSU Rector Hovhannes Hovhannisya, during which she was introduced to the university’s academic and research capacities.
