Presentation: "Theoretical Preconditions for Sovietization of Jazz"

On November 28, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., Rima Tigranyan, a PhD candidate at the Chair of Culturology at YSU Faculty of History, will deliver a presentation titled "Theoretical Preconditions for Sovietization of Jazz". 

The presentation will examine the main theoretical approaches to the study of jazz sovietization as reflected in American, European, and Soviet cultural discourses, along with comparative analyses. The discussion will provide insights into the specific characteristics of Soviet jazz, and particularly Armenian Soviet jazz, formation.
