On December 4, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., Anna Petrosyan, a postgraduate student at the Chair of World History, Faculty of History, Yerevan State University, will deliver a lecture titled "Transformation of US National Identity in the Second Half of the 19th Century in the Light of Economic and Social Networks".
During the lecture, the postgraduate student will discuss the profound economic transformations in the United States following the Civil War, which shaped the country's social structure and national consciousness. Topics will include the expansion of industrial production, the growth of railway and communication networks, and the emergence of trusts and corporate capitalism, which were key factors in the establishment of a new economic system.
