The Faculty of Economics and Management at Yerevan State University hosted Inessa Avanesova, Associate Professor at the Moscow School of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University. During the visit, certificates for participation in professional development courses were presented to the faculty members of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management.
Last year, at the invitation of Alexander Nekipelov, Director of the Moscow School of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University and academician at the Russian Academy of Sciences, a delegation from the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management, led by Dean Associate Professor Karlen Khachatryan, paid a working visit to the Moscow School of Economics. During this visit, members of the faculty's academic staff participated in professional development courses at the Moscow School of Economics.
The solemn ceremony for awarding the certificates was attended by Armen Sargsyan, Head of the YSU Educational-Methodological Department; Karlen Khachatryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management; as well as representatives of the faculty's academic and administrative staff.
Welcoming the attendees, Dean Karlen Khachatryan expressed his gratitude to the representative of the partner university for the visit, reaffirming the faculty's commitment to continuing and deepening the collaboration.
In her remarks, Inessa Avanesova emphasized that official relations between the two partner universities have long been established. However, thanks to consistent and collaborative efforts in recent years, numerous agreements and contractual provisions have been translated into tangible results.
During the visit, the parties discussed further deepening existing agreements and exploring new formats for collaboration. These include student exchange programs, round-table discussions, and participation in jointly organized conferences and forums. Both sides agreed to ensure that the professional development programs adopt a continuous and systematic approach, guaranteeing their regular implementation.
For nearly three years, the Moscow School of Economics at Lomonosov Moscow State University and the YSU Faculty of Economics and Management have been steadily deepening their collaboration, fostering academic ties and joint initiatives.
The YSU Faculty of Economics and Management continues to expand the scope of its partnership relations, aiming to consistently enhance the quality of education, promote research activities, and provide new opportunities for academic mobility for both faculty and students.
