Teaching of psychology in extracurricular settings: "Camp & Therapy" camp held
Under the initiative of the Student Council of YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, the "Camp & Therapy" camp was organized. The event aimed to create a learning and experiential environment for students, providing them with the opportunity to explore the classification of personality disorders and their manifestations beyond the classroom setting. In addition, the camp sought to develop practical skills that would enable students to apply these techniques when working with individuals facing similar challenges.

The camp, held at YSU Training and Production Base in Tsaghkadzor, aimed to integrate theoretical knowledge and professional talks with practical tasks, interactive games, and group work. The three-day program (July 18–20) included Camp Do sessions, during which students reinforced their theoretical knowledge while also focusing on personal development and self-regulation.

Referring to the importance of holding this camp, Syuzanna Danielyan, Chair of the Student Scientific Society at YSU Faculty of Philosophy and Psychology, noted that over the three days, the camp served not only as a platform for advancing professional skills but also for fostering professional development and building partnerships. According to her, thanks to this camp, students moved beyond traditional seminar settings and experienced psychology applied in real-world contexts.

"The feedback and active participation of the camp participants proved that formats like these are essential in teaching psychology, as they ensure a balanced delivery of knowledge and experience among students. The results achieved during these days lay the foundation for making the program continuous and for involving a broader range of participants," stressed Syuzanna Danielyan.
Lecturers Ani Margaryan from the Chair of Social and Clinical Psychology and Hasmik Hakobyan from the Chair of Personality Psychology at YSU also shared their professional expertise with the camp participants.
Upon the conclusion of the camp, all students received certificates of participation, which attest to the knowledge they gained regarding the classification, diagnosis, and treatment of personality disorders, as well as the self-regulation skills they acquired during the program.
