Գիտելիք, մրցույթներ, հաղթանակներ․ ԵՊՀ ուսանող Սոնա Սարգսյանը՝ մրցանակակիր «Այս հաջողությունը ինձ ոգեշնչեց ավելի մեծ վստահությամբ շարունակելու մասնագիտական ճանապարհս»,- ասում է ԵՊՀ կենսաբանության ֆակուլտետի «Կենսաքիմիա և կենսատեխնոլոգիա» բակալավրի կրթական ծրագրի 4-րդ կուրսի ուսանող Սոնա Սարգսյանը։ ՀՀ բարձրագույն մասնագիտական կրթական ծրագրեր իրականացնող ուսումնական հաստատությունների լավագույն առաջադիմությամբ ուսանողների անվանական կրթաթոշակների տրամադրման 2025 թվականի մրցույթի («Լավագույն ուսանող») արդյունքներով Սոնան հաղթող է ճանաչվել բնագիտական ոլորտում՝ զբաղեցնելով առաջին տեղը։
ԵՊՀ-ում պաշտոնապես բացվեց Տվյալների մշակման կենտրոնը․ ՀՀ վարչապետը ծանոթացավ գերհամակարգչի հնարավորություններին Երևանի պետական համալսարանում տեղի ունեցավ ՀՀ Կառավարության ֆինանսավորմամբ ձեռք բերված նոր գերհամակարգչով համալրված Տվյալների մշակման կենտրոնի բացումը, որին ներկա էր ՀՀ վարչապետ Նիկոլ Փաշինյանը։ Այցի շրջանակում վարչապետը շրջեց համալսարանում՝ ծանոթանալով տեխնոլոգիական և ենթակառուցվածքային ծրագրերին, ԵՊՀ գիտահետազոտական և կրթական ներուժի զարգացմանն ուղղված նախաձեռնություններին։

Another step toward the international scientific arena: New scientific journal launched at YSU Through the joint initiative of Karen Ghazaryan, Dean of the YSU Faculty of Biology, Doctor of Biological Sciences, and Abhishek Singh, researcher at the Laboratory of Applied Ecology and Environmental Studies of the Research Institute of Biology, a new international scientific journal titled Journal of Innovative Solutions for Eco-Environmental Sustainability has been created and has already been published.
New organic materials and next-generation batteries: research by YSU PhD student Mikayel Chobanyan "My research focuses on the discovery of new organic materials that can be used as cathode materials in sodium-ion batteries," says Mikayel Chobanyan, a PhD student at the YSU Institute of Physics. He is one of the winners of the "Research Support Program for PhD Students and Young Applicants–2025," announced by the RA MoESCS Higher Educational and Science Committee. Mikayel Chobanyan's goal is to develop a new method to rapidly and accurately evaluate the stability of organic materials for potential use in batteries.

Culture in the hands of leaders: new study by YSU scholar Haykuhi Muradyan, a lecturer at the Chair of Cultural Studies of the YSU Faculty of History, has been studying cultural policy for over ten years, with a particular focus on the Soviet period. Her research examines the paths through which cultural policy transformations have unfolded in the post-Soviet era, specifically addressing changes in the systems of cultural governance and the legislative framework regulating the sector, the influence of the West on these processes, and the elements of Soviet heritage that have been preserved in the post-Soviet period.

What questions can be addressed through research exploring why Armenian villages in Nakhichevan became depopulated? Elen Hakobyan, PhD student at the YSU Faculty of History, is exploring these questions while tracing her own family roots. Her research project, titled "Armenians in the Nakhichevan ASSR: Cultural Isolation, Forced Migration, and Memory," is funded by the RA MoESCS Higher Education and Science Committee.
Victory of young YSU researcher in international competition Ani Harutyunyan, a PhD student at the Chair of Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Biotechnology of the Faculty of Biology at Yerevan State University (YSU), participated in the 100 Ideas for the CIS Countries international competition, held in Astana, Kazakhstan. She won in the "Medicine and Healthcare" category, representing Armenia on an international platform and achieving a significant professional milestone.
Master's studies, education abroad, and new academic horizons: YSU student on international educational experience The Erasmus+ program, Venice, and Ca' Foscari University have opened new educational and cultural horizons for Elen Meghrikyan, a master's student at the YSU Faculty of European Languages and Communication. "Studying abroad was one of the best decisions of my life. Beyond educational achievements, living and studying abroad offered me much more—independence, self-confidence, new friendships, and a rich cultural experience," the YSU student says.
