Scientific response to demographic challenges: YSU establishes Center for Demographic Research In recent years, demographic issues have become a central topic at both local and international expert levels, driven by the intensification of challenges such as population aging, decline, and migration fluctuations. Armenia, too, is facing serious demographic challenges, including declining birth rates, emigration, life expectancy concerns, and population aging. In this context, the lack of a systematic research, analytical, and educational platform in the field of demography in the country became evident. To address these issues, propose solutions, and contribute to the development of informed policies, the Center for Demographic Research was established at Yerevan State University through the joint efforts of the university, the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia.
Armenia and Japan launch collaborative project: Center for Spatial Studies and Urban Informatics Today, the official launch of the Armenian-Japanese project "Center for Spatial Studies and Urban Informatics" was announced at Yerevan State University. Czech student advances her profession-specific skills at YSU Natalie Lubojacka, a master's student at the University of Veterinary Sciences in Brno, Czech Republic, has been conducting research for about a month at the Chair of Zoology, YSU Faculty of Biology. Her work focuses on studying the biological characteristics of rodents and bats living in the wild, the parasites inhabiting their organisms, and the diseases caused by these parasites.

War is also the silent battle of millions of women — their unwavering strength, human emotions, and personal stories that often remain unseen. The role of women in times of war was the focal point of the event titled "Women and War: Book Presentations and Discussion," held at Yerevan State University.
