Armenian studies in Sofia: YSU scholars take part in international scholarly dialogue Armenian studies is not a field of scholarship confined to Armenia. It continues to bring together researchers from different countries, create new platforms for cooperation and promote the study of the Armenian language, culture and history at academic centers abroad. These aims were reflected in the international conference "Armenia: A Crossroads of Centuries and Worlds", held at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bulgaria, with the participation of representatives of the YSU Faculty of Armenian Philology.
YSU students win gold, silver and bronze at International Mathematics Competition Armenia's team won one gold, two silver and one bronze medal, as well as one honourable mention, at the International Mathematics Competition (IMC) held in Bulgaria. Most of the team members were YSU students, once again demonstrating the high standard of mathematics education and olympiad training at the university in a prestigious international competition.

From literature to artificial intelligence: university community discusses new approaches in humanities A summer school titled "Literature and Folklore: Interdisciplinary Approaches and Digital Technologies" was held at YSU's Tsaghkadzor Training and Production Base. As part of the program, leading specialists in the field addressed interdisciplinary approaches to research in literature, folklore and related areas, as well as opportunities for applying artificial intelligence and digital tools in the humanities.

Newly discovered archival documents reveal untold chapters of YSU Library's history Research conducted at the National Archives of Armenia has uncovered new documents that shed fresh light on the century-long history of Yerevan State University Library. The YSU Sarkis and Marie Izmirlian Library has launched an initiative to bring to light not only statistical data, figures and facts, but also lesser-known layers of the library's century-long history through human stories and values. Conceived by Library Director Avetik Mejlumyan and supported by the university leadership, the archival research is ultimately intended to lead to the creation of a permanent exhibition hall presenting the library's history.
