Collaborative research aims to advance cancer treatment involving leading research centers from five countries The first phase of research aimed at advancing cancer treatment has commenced at Yerevan State University. As part of this initiative, Dr. Paweł Lenartowicz, a researcher from the Institute of Chemistry and Pharmacy at the University of Opole (Poland), and Dr. Przemysław Domaszewski, Deputy Director of the Institute of Health Sciences, visited YSU Institute of Pharmacy. Environmental, hydrometeorological, and climate change issues on international conference agenda An international two-day conference dedicated to the World Days of Forests, Water and Meteorology has commenced at Yerevan State University. During the conference, scientists from Armenia and abroad are presenting their reports on scientific achievements in hydrometeorology, environmental monitoring, and ensuring ecological safety, while addressing the pressing issues in hydrometeorology, the current state of the environment, and the critical challenges of climate change.
YSU and Prosecutor General's Office sign memorandum of understanding to enhance cooperation in legal education, research, and practice The Prosecutor General of Armenia, Anna Vardapetyan, the Rector of Yerevan State University, Hovhannes Hovhannisyan, and the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Harutyun Khachikyan, have signed a memorandum of understanding with a view to developing an effective, constructive, and continuous culture of cooperation in legal education, research, and practical training.
Integrating natural sciences with art: Breaking stereotypes At YSU Charles Aznavour Cultural Center, a performance of Hovhannes Tumanyan’s poem "Anush" was staged with the participation of students from YSU STEM High School. The students from the natural sciences stream, who are typically interested in mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology, showed their talents in art this time, combining their passion and knowledge of both the arts and natural sciences.

Innovative infrastructure, educational reforms, and new scientific programs: Outlining new prospects for international cooperation at YSU A delegation from Yerevan State University visited the University of Warsaw, Poland, from March 3-6 to explore the innovative approaches of infrastructure, educational environment, staff management practices, safety standards, and strategies for expanding cooperation in the educational and research sectors at foreign universities. The visit concluded with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between YSU and the University of Warsaw, which envisions not only enhanced educational and scientific cooperation but also the expansion of academic mobility.
Forbidden literature: Books and lessons of history YSU History Museum hosted a discourse on forbidden literature with the aim of studying the historical and contemporary manifestations of literary censorship, understanding its impact on society, and evaluating the role of forbidden literature in shaping the literary and intellectual environment.
