ԵՊՀ-ից մինչև համաշխարհային ճանաչում․ մաթեմատիկայի հայ հանճարը Նրա մասին խոսելիս ասում են՝ մաթեմատիկայի հայ հանճարը։ Ընդունվելով Երևանի պետական համալսարան՝ նա մեկ տարում հանձնում է առաջին և երկրորդ կուրսերի բոլոր քննությունները և սկսում հաճախել երրորդ կուրս։ Համալսարանի հնգամյա դասընթացը ավարտելով երեքուկես տարում՝ նա ընդունվում է ասպիրանտուրա և ավարտում մեկ տարում։ 20 տարեկանում դառնում է գիտությունների դոկտոր, իսկ 24-ում՝ ԽՍՀՄ ԳԱ ամենաերիտասարդ թղթակից անդամը։ Նա աշխարհահռչակ հայ գիտնական, ՀԽՍՀ ԳԱ ակադեմիկոս Սերգեյ Մերգելյանն է․ գիտնական, որի համար ԵՊՀ-ն դարձավ մեկնակետ դեպի համաշխարհային ճանաչում և գիտական նոր նվաճումներ։
YSU associate professor explores innovative cancer therapies during scientific visit to Poland Associate Professor Hayarpi Simonyan, Head of the Chair of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmacognosy at the YSU Institute of Pharmacy, conducted a scientific visit to the University of Opole in Poland under the European Commission-funded Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Staff Exchanges (MSCA Staff Exchanges) program. The visit focused on collaborating with international partners to develop more effective cancer therapies, while also facilitating the exchange of expertise and the acquisition of advanced research skills.
Armenian speaker of parliament visits YSU research centers and meets students Armenian Speaker of Parliament Alen Simonyan visited Yerevan State University. In her monograph titled "Clothing of the Kingdom of Van", Gayane Poghosyan, lecturer in the Chair of History and Theory of Armenian Art at the YSU Faculty of History, proposes new hypotheses, draws parallels between Urartian clothing and traditional Armenian dress, and presents visual reconstructions of male and female attire.
Science knows no borders: young researchers from different countries at YSU The Faculty of Biology at Yerevan State University has welcomed undergraduate and graduate students from several countries, including Germany, Italy, Russia, and Kazakhstan. These students are conducting research, participating in internships, and gaining valuable academic and practical experience. Among those working in the faculty's laboratories are Angela Primavera (Italy), George Sarzhevsky (Russia), and Fritz Kamm (Germany), as well as doctoral students from Kazakhstan—Nurgeldi Aimanbetov, Kuanish Moldakashev, and Kaysar Yegizbayn. They are engaged in various research projects and collaborate closely with YSU scientists.

The session explored the relationship between folk tales and museums, tracing the journey of the fairy tale from its origins as an oral narrative to its diverse contemporary manifestations across various cultural contexts.

Emphasizing that the completeness of science is compromised when women's potential is limited, she notes that remaining in the scientific field is not only a choice of profession for her but also a responsibility—to serve as a role model for future female scientists.
First Armenian-language scholarly collection on clinical legal education published Within the framework of close collaboration between the Legal Clinic of the YSU Faculty of Law and the Yerevan office of the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights, the first collection of Armenian-language scholarly articles on clinical legal education has been published.
